In 1850, an English photographer took from the Colosseum the Arch of Constantine, the Palatine Hill, Via di San Gregorio and the Meta Sudans (before its demolition, which took place in the 1930s at the behest of Mussolini)
Fifty-one years later, in 1901, a lady observes the same perspective from a similar point.
