For this enchanting tour of about 3 hours we will meet at the Spanish Steps, next to the famous staircase, near the Barcaccia fountain.
After a brief introduction on the area, its history and its beauties, we will continue our walk towards the Trevi Fountain, and we will enjoy some well-deserved joy and Dolce Vita admiring one of the 3 "must", when you come to Rome ...
Then, crossing Piazza di Pietra, with the impressive ruins of the Temple dedicated to Emperor Hadrian, we will reach the theatrical Piazza Sant'Ignazio, definitely a jewel, one of the most beautiful and unknown squares of Rome, and we will access the church of Sant'Ignazio, a sacred place and museum at the same time ... That time will be perfect to go to Piazza della Rotonda, enter the Pantheon and enjoy the most preserved monument of Ancient Rome ... Here we will see, among other things, the tomb of the great Raphael and the Dome that inspired Michelangelo to conceive the St. Peter's Dome.
It will also be an ideal place if you want to taste one of the best ice creams in Rome!
For lovers of real coffee we can then stop in Piazza Sant’Eustachio, renowned for its bars where you can enjoy the best espresso or cappuccino, but also an open-air museum ...
Our walk will continue through the wonderful Piazza Navona, its fountains and the church of Sant'Agnese in Agone, then we will head towards the very Roman Piazza Campo de 'Fiori with its traditional market.
We will end our adventure in Piazza Farnese, in front of the elegant Palazzo Farnese, now the home of the French Embassy ... .. just feet away from Trastevere (if you want to go on exploring our treasures ...)
